Ian Winter from BBC Midlands Today came down to Redditch to chat with Angela our ladies captain, Phil our head greenkeeper and Villa fan and me about the trip to Hoylake next month....anyone would think I was playin' !!

This amused me, if you look under 'Latest News' on the Golf Monthly page opposite, you will see something that's never going to happen again...
my name on the same page as Rory Mac.....

The press coverage has really helped the hit rate on the Blog site, it fact it has gone up ten fold....
but anyone would think I was playing not raking the bunkers Ha !

Just for the record
and for the benefit of my work mates I'm not actually
'A Cut Above The Rest'
I just happened to apply and be lucky, in the right place at the right time........and prepared to pay my own expenses.

However, a big thank you to Redditch Golf Club for the support and allowing me the time off....
