Well... this week I got my first official handicap (17) ever and played in my first tournament ever....The Toro Team Challenge at the beautifully kept Trentham Golf Club near Stoke (representing Redditch Golf Club's Greens Team against 11 other golf clubs).
The event was organised by BIGGA and was a great day out....... guess what ?
I won..........not the golf but the raffle, happy days :)
I would highly recommend Trentham for a day out , it's only 60 miles away just off J15 of the M5, please have a look at their photo gallery.

Don't forget there are machines around the course to help you clean your golf balls......
